A Note from Our Chapter President

Hi! Welcome to the website of Alpha Phi at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln! My name is Alexa Beckman and this year I have the absolute honor of serving as our chapter president. Alpha Phi and the women in this chapter have shaped me to be the woman I am today and I can't thank them enough. Three years ago when I ran to the big white house on bid day, I had no idea just how much Alpha Phi and the women around me would change my life. Within the walls of this house, I've shared many moments laughing, crying, growing, and learning with these women. These memories and moments spent with them will stay with me forever. I'm beyond lucky to call these women my best friends and sisters.

As you look around our website, I hope you will see Alpha Phi is a home filled with the most kind-hearted, passionate, unique, inspiring and strongest group of women. In Alpha Phi, you will always have a friend who's up for watching movies in the basement all night long, singing in the shower at the top of your lungs, hanging out in the dining room until 2 A.M., studying on the porch in the backyard, late night fast food runs, or laying on the bouch. I could go on forever about the endless memories made in this house. As I reflect on my last three years, I think about the women around me who were once strangers that are now my life long best friends. I cannot imagine my life without any of the women in this chapter, and I can't wait to see what all they will accomplish in their bright futures.

To the women of Alpha Phi (past, present, and future):

I'm so lucky to share this special bond with you. I love you all so much. Thank you for giving me the

best years of my life.

To potential new members:

Get ready for the best years of your life. I encourage you to look at our website, and please take this organization to heart as you go through recruitment; recognize how strong and genuine our sisterhood is here at Alpha Phi.

To all others:

Take a look around and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
